Jennifer Mackie

Owner | Physiotherapist | Pilates teacher

Hello and welcome to Pilates CHB. I am passionate about movement and helping people become their best selfs. With over 15 years experience as a physiotherapist you are in good hands.

Having graduated from the Robert Gordon University, Scotland, with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy I worked for a short time for the NHS before moving to NZ. Treating predominatley work and sporting injuries before finding my passion for exercise rehabilitation through the pilates method. I combine my hands on approach with a tailored exercise plan to treat the problem and prevent reoccurence.

With longer appointment times and a focus on client empowerment I aim to provide a gold standard physiotherapy service.

Its not just physiotherapy. My pilates classes teach you how good movement is supposed to feel.

Currently studying for my Strength and conditioning accreditation.  As well as a menopause course.

Jenny Green

    Personal Trainer | Pilates teacher

I am a urban refugee from Auckland, very happy to return to my agricultural roots having grown up on a farm in England, where I spent much of my childhood riding my bike and my pony around the countryside.

I arrived in NZ in 2002. As a newly qualified  fitness instructor I loved the lifestyle and committed to stay. Since then I have completed my Personal Training certification through both AIT and Network Fitness, a BBS at Massey (sport management and coaching), plus full Pilates certification with Stott Pilates, gravity training for Pilates and Equestrian Pilates.

I have had the privilege to represent New Zealand n paddling, multi-sport and trail running.

I started practicing Pilates as my body was feeling the strain of my intense physical lifestyle, (sciatic pain) and is the one thing that keeps allowing me to do all the things I love. More recently I have returned to my childhood love of horses and I am delighted to have the opportunity to play Polo, and to educate other riders in how to get more from themselves and their horses by applying the principles of Pilates

Michelle Hindmarsh

   Pilates teacher

My husband and I have lived in CHB for 10 years. We manage a sheep and beef station with our 3 children and our fur-babies. I have been practicing Pilates for 8 years now and have recently completed my instructor course.  My passion for Pilates began when it managed to sort the issues I had with my neck and back.   It was also very beneficial for my post-birth recovery. I love that Pilates is accessible for all ages and abilities, and the variety of challenges keep it interesting.  I have a background in secondary teaching so that along with my love of Pilates is the perfect combination.  I look forward to meeting you all soon.
